I have recently realized how much I miss McDonald's in Helsinki. For a fact, European's are healthy eaters than Americans. I think they even eat healthier than Asians... Filipinos to be exact. HH and I had some discussions regarding the differences in McDonald's menu in Helsinki from that of the Philippines'. Here are our findings:
1. McDo Helsinki doesn't serve rice meals. They dont even have rice!
2. McDo Helsinki doesn't serve spaghetti. It got me thinking that it was the reason why i always had a hard time choosing my mcdo meal. Here in manila, spaghetti was one of my staple order.
3. McDo Helsinki serves salad with their value meals.
4. They still offer milkshakes for as low as 1.50euros.
5. As counterpart to our rice meals, mcdo in finland offers a variety of sandwhiches such as Bueno El Maco (my favorite!) which comes in chicken and beef varieties, Barbeque burger, etc.
6. I did not find fried chicken in their menu. =(
7. Chicken nuggets come with a variety of sauces. A lot more sauces than our usual barbeque, and sweet and sour sauce in manila.
