If I were to modify his dish, I would probably prepare it on top of steamed, hot, white rice to make it more hearty and heavy on the stomach. I am definitely a Filipino who can not really eat any meal without rice. Hehe. Or maybe I can pair it with nachos instead of the hominy arepas and black bean. I am pretty sure it will be a great snack on tv nights.
